School Bus Technician

LAUNCH TransTechs is searching for a skilled School Bus Technician for routine and preventative maintenance on school buses.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr., depending on experience

Shift: 7 am – 4 pm, M – F

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Routine and preventative maintenance on school buses
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs;
• Steering, electrical, cooling, brake systems, drive trains, suspension, transmissions, etc.
• Identifies and reports any additional maintenance and/or repairs found necessary in conducting assigned repairs and maintenance
• Perform DOT inspections regularly on site
• Maintain a safe, clean and productive work area
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Required:
• Hhigh school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of related maintenance and repair on medium/heavy duty trucks.
• Must be able to pass DOT drug test & DOT physical.
• Must have own tools and steel toe boots.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred:
• CDL, or the ability to obtain.
• ASE, preferred but not required.
