School Bus Technician

LAUNCH TransTechs is looking for a skilled transit shuttle bus technician to do routine and preventative maintenance as we as assist with frequent DOT inspections.

Pay: $22 per hour

Shift: Tue - Fri 9:30 am -6 pm, Sat 6 am - 2:30 pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Routine and preventative maintenance on fleet of diesel powered and CNG transit buses and equipment.
• Build, rebuild and repair all parts of automotive equipment.
• Diagnose any mechanical, electrical, and any other breakdown or failure.
• Inspect the equipment used.
• When applicable use welding skills.
• Help mentor current technicians at the location, smaller location.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• CDL B with P Endorsement is strongly preferred but not required.
• ASE's a plus but not required.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have steel toe boots.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass FMCSA DOT Drug Screen.
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical.
• Must be able to pass 10 Yr EMP Check.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
