Production Control Coordinator

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Production Control Coordinator for an opportunity in Sumner, WA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Customer Programs, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production and Tooling to ensure jobs are created in order to meet demand and ensure maximum program continuity and balanced utilization of manufacturing capability.
• Adjusts, integrates, and balances scheduling variables to assure compliance with contract delivery terms and conditions.
• Performs shop follow-up and expediting assignments.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Performs miscellaneous projects as assigned.
• Create a daily schedule for specific production lines.
• Supports production with a job or schedule-related issues.
• Assist’s in investigating inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Two-Three years directly related scheduling experience.
• Know and understand MRP and shop loading.
• Computer literate with strong Excel skills required.
• Vantage ERP knowledge a plus.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Must have organizational and coordinating skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• Must obtain the skill to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate’s degree (A. A.) preferred or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two-three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
