Lean Practitioner (Lean Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager)
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Lean Practitioner for a direct employment opportunity in Seattle, Washington. The primary function of the Lean Practitioner is to facilitate continuous improvement implementation, conduct kaizen events and engage with site leadership and employees to implement and sustain beneficial change within the operation. This role will be the primary leader of Lean implementation within the organization and lead a team of Industrial Engineers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Lean, Six-Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies and principles. Utilization of these principles to make process improvements within the operation
- Plant level performance metrics and analysis
- Work flow analysis and simulation
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical
- Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and equipment
- Develop & maintain plant standards
- Create/maintain value stream maps
- Plan, schedule and prioritize work to meet established deadlines
- Determine/improve plant processes to meet production levels
- Utilize Lean/Six Sigma principles and methodologies in making process improvements
- Determining facilities layout requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant Engineering field
- 10-15+ years’ experience in an manufacturing environment
- Aerospace manufacturing experience highly preferred
- At least 5 years leadership experience
