Furance Operator

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Furnace Operator for an opportunity in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Machinist supports production machinery, sets equipment/machinery to required settings, monitors operations of machiniery or equipment and determines wheter materials or products meet standards.
• The furnace operator role is a floor production position. The individual is responsible for the loading and unloading furnaces, building of furnace loads, and preventative maintenance of hardware.
• The role will operate furnaces using the Distributive Control System per standard operating procedures.
• The individual will operate support equipment such as Cranes, Forklifts, Vacuums, Scissor Lifts, Power Tools and etc.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Entry level position with preference given towards those who have demonstrated work in an industrial environment.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent required. Experience working in an industrial production environment preferred.
• Must be fit for duty in the operation of Cranes, Forklifts, Vacuums, Scissor Lifts, Power Tools and etc.
• Furnace operator will support production labor for unloading and loading of carbon composite materials.
