Data Reporting Analyst

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Reporting Analyst for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

The reporting/analytics specialist assists in leading the design, development, and preparation of analytical studies and presentations supporting all areas within Cargo operations and the DLCC (Company Logistics Control Center).

Responsibilities:

• Developing and automating complex Cargo Operations/DLCC performance reports and dashboards, identifying and improving upon data sources to support performance reporting, and completing ad hoc analysis for senior leaders with minimal direction.
• Participates in high-visibility projects for Cargo Operations/DLCC that improve overall divisional performance, including annual development of KPI’s, goals, and scorecards, as well as process improvements within the operation.
• The individual will need to adapt to shifting priorities by learning unfamiliar topics quickly, manage individual priorities to ensure project deadlines are met, and to establish and maintain relationships with peers, customers, and other divisions.
• Assist with developing power point presentations by providing reporting content and other work as assigned by leader. 
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, supply chain, information science, computer science, or other relevant quantitative field.
• Must have 3+ to 5 year’s of experience in analysis, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field.
• Must be proficient in written and oral communications.
• Experience with transportation & cargo related operations a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in a group/individual setting while also frequently presenting to leaders.
• An intermediate level of understanding and experience with most, if not all of the following: • SQL, SAS, R or other database interface tools and languages.
• Visual Basic, Perl, or other basic functional programming tools.
• Statistical analysis and modeling including Linear Regression, Segmentation, non-linear predictive regression and machine learning.
• Prefer working knowledge of Tableau.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex processes within cross-functional teams.
• Must have an ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a timely manner across multiple assignment.
