Supply Chain Manager

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for an opportunity in Chula Vista, CA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide delivery assurance in the subcontracting environment.
• Ensure that the day to day supply management activities such as placing purchase orders and managing suppliers ensuring they execute on quality, on-time delivery and at a cost to meet our financial goals.
• Attend program material/status meetings and production meetings as required.
• Must have experience of expediting shipments and negotiating terms. 
• Must be detail oriented as subcontracting requires multiple steps in a complicated process.
• Must have great communication and presentation skills to status our internal and external customers.

Qualifications and requirements: 

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of procurement by using ERP system (preferably SAP but can be other systems). 
• Time management skills and project management skills are key in order to be successful in this role. 
• Travel to suppliers may be required.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
