Supply Chain Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for an opportunity in Chula Vista, CA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide delivery assurance in the subcontracting environment.
- Ensure that the day to day supply management activities such as placing purchase orders and managing suppliers ensuring they execute on quality, on-time delivery and at a cost to meet our financial goals.
- Attend program material/status meetings and production meetings as required.
- Must have experience of expediting shipments and negotiating terms.
- Must be detail oriented as subcontracting requires multiple steps in a complicated process.
- Must have great communication and presentation skills to status our internal and external customers.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of procurement by using ERP system (preferably SAP but can be other systems).
- Time management skills and project management skills are key in order to be successful in this role.
- Travel to suppliers may be required.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
