Aerospace Assemblers - Part Mark

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking aerospace assemblers and operators for an opportunity in Auburn, WA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mark various types of aerospace parts using rubber stamps, stencils, and/or an inkjet machine.
• Read and understand instructions’ detailing what information is to be included on part mark.
• Interpret drawings to determine proper location for part mark.
• Responsible for producing quality products within specifications.
• Responsible for meeting shift production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete shift paper work.
• Assist elsewhere when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by management. 

 Qualifications and requirements: 

• 2+ years’ experience in Aerospace Assembly
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Able to interpret Aerospace blueprints a plus.
• Analytical and creative skills to find solutions to problems.
• Proficient using PC and software applications.
• Experience with automated part marking equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player who can perform in a fast paced environment with sense of urgency.
• Quality oriented with a hands-on personality, “do it right the first time” personality.
• Read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read and communicate effectively through oral and written communication
• Ability to stand, sit, bend or kneel for long periods of time
• General mechanical skills.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
