Automotive Mechanic/ Entry-Level Diesel

LAUNCH TransTechs is seeking Automtive/Entry-Level Diesel Mechanics for routine and preventative mainteneacne on a fleet of school buses.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 /hr., depending on experience
Shift: 5:30 AM - 2 PM M-F

Automotive Mechanic/Entry Level Diesel Responsibilities:

• Routine and preventative maintenance on school buses
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs;
  • Steering, electrical, cooling, brake systems, drive trains, suspension, transmissions, etc.
• Maintain a safe, clean and productive work area
• Perform DOT inspections regularly on site
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualified Candidates For The Automotive Mechanic/Entry Level Diesel Position Will Have Met The Following:

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED & 2+ years of related maintenance and repair
  
• Must be able to pass DOT drug test & DOT physical
• Must furnish own tools and steel toe boots.
• CDL, or the ability to obtain may be required.
• ASE Certifications or trade schooling a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
