School Bus Technician

LAUNCH TransTechs is looking for a School Bus Technician for routine and preventative maintenance procedures; as well as, to assist with frequent DOT inspection in Hampton, NJ.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: M – F, 1^st shift

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Routine and preventative maintenance on diesel powered school buses.
• Build, rebuild and repair all parts of automotive equipment.
• Diagnose any mechanical, electrical, and any other breakdown or failure.
• Inspect equipment used.
• When applicable use welding skills.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Must furnish own tools and steel toe boots.
• Valid driver's license. 
• CDL preferred, but not required.
