Mechanical Electrical Technician

We are currently looking to hire a mechanical electrical technician for our Des Plaines, IL facility. The position is on 1st shift, Monday to Friday 7am-4pm plus OT. 

This position pays 18/hour to start and overtime is 27/hour.

-Candidates must have a mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background, 5-10+ years

-Must be able to read blueprints and schematics

-Any background is okay, but in this role candidates will be troubleshooting coffee machines 

-Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting, waterline hook ups, connecting and wiring, etc.

• Responsible for keeping on schedule for the service calls during the times established by Dispatch.
• Handle and respond to emergency requests for service.
• Must maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Responsible for logging equipment, parts and time spent on-site; to be turned in daily.
• Maintain contact with Customer Service and Dispatch regarding delays or potential issues.
• Install and service equipment for new and existing accounts.
• Understand specifications, products and service aspects of all accounts.
• Attend departmental meetings as requested.
• Perform duties in a timely and positive manner.
• Work closely with other techs, Dispatch and department manager.
• Maintain and refurbish equipment in the service area.
• Maintain and clean the service area and service vehicle.
• Maintain, receive and organize equipment and parts in the parts room and in the vehicle.
• Responsible for accurate inventory on all supplies, machines and parts; including those in vehicle.
• Will be provided with company issued cell phone and vehicle for service call use only.
