Supply Chain Project Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager for an opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the Defense Logistics contact for physical logistics requirements, answering questions and managing concerns.
- Leading business requirements capture workshops, verifying and translating output into a detailed timebound logistics requirement plan.
- Communication of clear proposals to secure investment and inform sourcing decisions.
- Delivery of the plan. Develop milestones, identify risks, manage budget, and communicate to stakeholders through the planning and implementation process.
Requirements:
- Project Management skillset with 4+ years of demonstrated project leadership. Project Management certification not required, but encouraged.
- Ability to pull together a team of SMEs from multiple disciplines to work towards a single goal.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills capable of building good working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Defense Aerospace product knowledge and a logistics background preferred.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft applications with knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience desirable).
- Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
