2nd Shift Powder Coat Painter

We are currently looking to hire a powder coat painter for our 2nd shift located in Schiller Park, IL. This position can interview and start right away and pays 18/hour to start. 

Responsibilities:

• Read basic drawings
• Assists in preparation area, washing, grinding and inspecting parts when needed
• Applies primer and/or paint using an electrostatic gun system, ensuring high-quality coverage according to customer specifications
• Visually checks completed parts for quality of application, and makes adjustments where necessary
• Performs daily cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment, thoroughly cleaning out paint lines and equipment
• Keeps work area neat and orderly
• Participates in continuous improvement by analyzing production issues and resolving problems

Essential Skills:

• High attention to detail
• Measuring tape and hand tools
• Heaving lifting required up to 50 pounds (with assistance)
