Flight Safety Specialist
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Flight Safety Specialist for an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia.
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications.- Must be able to effectively communicate information (both verbal and written) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of aviation safety programs (such as ASAP, FOQA, and SMS) and understand ICAO Annex 13 accident investigation processes.
- Self-motivated, a multitasker, and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities:
Support the Flight Safety team on a variety of airline operations safety programs.- Liaise with multiple operating divisions on significant event follow-up, analyze flight data, and process employee safety reports.
- Support the Air Safety Investigations team.
- Responsible for assisting in developing presentations and publications for both senior leaders and front line employees (primarily pilots).
- Assist in maintaining the safety incident database, follow-up on significant events, and technical report writing.
- Support the entire Flight Safety team on projects for the pilot, dispatch, and load control employee safety reporting program, as well as hazard and data analysis to support the Safety Management System.
