Print Shop Technician

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Print Shop Technician for an opportunity in Marysville, Washington.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hand stacking lined paper comping off of the print machine at varying speeds.
• Set up and operation of equipment.
• Use of viscometer, pumps, scales and hoist.
• Ironing adhesive to materials.
• Other production duties as assigned.
• Stocking materials as needed.
• Basic housekeeping duties on equipment and within the department.
• Will to cross train or transfer to other departments as needed to meet customer demand.
• Will participate in operational improvement activities.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be highly motivated to help us meet our production requirements.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English proficiently.
• Must be able to understand and follow procedures and practices established by specification or company policy
• Must be familiar with standard and metric measurements.
• 1-3 years steady work history is preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be able to multi-task in an effective, proficient manner.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds occasionally during the shift.
• Must be available to work overtime as required.
• Forklift operation may be required.
• No tools required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
