Core Detailer

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Core Detailer for an opportunity in Marysville, Washington.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Core Detailer will use die grinders, routers, band and chamfer saws and razor knives to detail special features and contours on honeycomb core for aerospace parts per the customer and company specifications/quality standards.

• Cleaning and preparing tools to be used for production.
• Deburring parts using die grinders, sanders, saws etc.
• Participating in operational improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned. May be asked to cross train in other areas.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be able to speak/read English effectively and to read/interpret engineering drawings, customer and company specifications, as well as technical publications.
• Must be familiar with standard and metric measurements.
• 1-3 years steady work history is preferred.
• Prior experience with hand tools preferred.
• Must be highly motivated, organized and task oriented.
• Must be able to learn to effectively use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination is required.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds. 2 man lift is available if needed.
• Must be available to work overtime as required.
• No tools required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
