1st Shift Material Handler
We are currently looking to hire full time material handler for our 1st shift for our brand new facility in Franklin Park, IL. This position is Monday to Friday 6am-3pm and pays 18/hour to start.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate forklift and reach truck
- Pick orders and maintain inventory stock levels
- Maintain warehouse in clean, safe and organized manner
- Read bills of material, pull stock and adjust quantities in business system
- Assist in inventory counts
- Maintain accurate inventory within business system
- Kit specified material and deliver to production floor in a timely manner
- Check incoming material to ensure accuracy with purchase order
- Assist in day-to-day general warehouse operations
- Load and unload trucks
- Email communication
- Manage the accurate processing of all returns
- Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job

Education and/or Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and converse fluently in English
- Forklift experience preferred, narrow aisle reach truck experience a huge plus
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
