SR Compliance Specialist

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an SR Compliance Specialist for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Performs federally required CHRC screening adjudication processes to comply with security regulations and company policy regarding SIDA badge/access for Company.
  • Pre-employment background checks and Rap Back processing to include internal and external candidates.
  • Manages and maintains the Corporate Database for criminal history records check and necessary documentation to meet all federal, state, and local requirements, as well as Company policies regarding CHRC for purposes of SIDA badge/access for external candidates and employees, Pre-Employment background screening and Rap Back notifications.
  • Researches and investigates criminal charges to determine eligibility for Pre-Employment background screenings as well as for SIDA Badge/access to include adjudication for Criminal/MVR for New Hires and Internal transfers.
  • Reviews, investigates and assess appropriate follow up based on CHRC results including Pre-Adverse actions.
  • Provides guidance regarding interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures for compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Acts as subject matter expert on SIDA and MVR/BGC processing and delivers process training to support compliance requirements associated with SIDA badge access, CHRC and Pre-Employment to Field Leaders.
  • Manages all responsibilities of the CHRC inbox to include timely communication with operational Leaders, field HR representatives and internal/external candidates regarding criminal/MVR, SIDA statuses and decisions including adverse actions and/or suspensions of access.
  • Schedules and performs internal audits to measure process effectiveness.
  • Collects and analyzes data and takes appropriate action to respond to internal and external requests.
  • Acts as a liaison with third party administrator as well as regulatory entities as required.
  • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Must have minimum of a bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field of study or equivalent related work experience.
  • Prefer PHR/SPHR certification.
  • Should be able to comprehend and apply regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Should be able to analyze problems and form logical conclusions appropriate to regulatory guidelines, as well as company policy.
  • Should be able to review and interpret CHRC results and accurately apply regulatory and/or company policy requirements to recommend appropriate action.
  • Should be able to apply company policy background standard, in addition to CHRC related duties, when appropriate.
  • Should be able to conduct follow up investigation as necessary, including understanding and applying regulatory requirements.
  • Should be able to assess and determine relevant facts and develop recommendations.
  • Should be able to utilize sound judgment and decision making skills based on facts.
  • Should be sufficiently organized to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Should understand and be able to communicate how day-to-day operations are impacted by compliance/regulatory requirements.
  • Should be able to make sound decisions based upon an analysis of the facts, experience with the subject matter, and good judgment.
  • Should be able to make quality decisions in the absence of complete information.
  • Should be able to effectively handle multiple and changing priorities.
  • Successful candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with employees and representatives of external entities.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Must be able to use software applications and systems required to perform the functions of this position.
  • Must be able to meet the TSA and Company requirements to obtain unescorted access to airport secure areas.
