A&P Flight Line Officer

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an A&P Flight Line Officer with commercial C&D check experience on Commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Flight Line Officer is a rotating three shift role focused on building the relationship between all levels of the manufacturing organization.

As a Flight Line Officer, your key accountabilities will include:

• Supporting day-to-day activity of the Airframe and production delivery, ensuring the engines do not cause aircraft delivery delays.
• Collecting information to support the Derby commercial team to allow them to minimize expenditures
• Coordinating the detailed reporting to Rolls-Royce for all issues reported by Boeing on Rolls-Royce supplied hardware.
• Ensuring the customer inventory held in support of the production is at the minimum level for support.
• Defining the work scope for engines entering the customer facility and supervise the activity within the facility.
• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder Required
• DOT Safety Sensitive Position
• A&P or Power Plant Certification Required

Qualifications and requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.  Years of experience deferred by schooling/degrees.
• A&P certificate
• Must be available for rotating 24-hour basis to include weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to travel as needed is required up to 50%
• Must be US citizen or Green Card Holder
• Must have the minimum tools as required.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
