School Bus Technician - Competitive Pay Rates!

 

Shift: M- F, 1st 

Pay: $22 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• PerformS routine and preventative maintenance on a fleet of school buses.
• Assist with frequent DOT inspections regularly conducted on site.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs; Steering, electrical, cooling, brake systems, drive trains, suspension, transmissions, etc.
• Identifies and reports any additional maintenance and/or repairs found necessary in conducting assigned repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean and productive work area.
• Any other duties assigned to support operations.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• The equivalent of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3+ years of experience working on school buses.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have steel toe boots.
• Must be able to pass CRIM & DMV Checks.
• Must be able to pass FMCSA DOT Drug Screen.
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• ASE preferred but not required.
