Production Support Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Production Support Engineer for an opportunity in Mesa, AZ.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Research and develop creative, cost effective repair schemes to reduce aircraft operating
costs
• Develop repair documentation to flow products through the facility in a timely
error-free manner
• Develop repairs based upon OEM data and place these into formats
• Follow projects at a high level to ensure smooth processing
Qualifications and requirements:
BA/AA degree preferred, but not required
• 5 years Solidworks or similar 3D CAD proficiency required – including tooling
development
• Technical manual review, interpretation and writing skills required
• 5 years of experience Machining Grinding, Inspection and Assembly
• Experience with aircraft technical data, both fixed and rotor wing
• Familiarity with standard machine shop processing techniques
• Familiarity with aerospace measurements techniques and GD&T
• Blueprint reading and interpretation
• Ability to quickly resolve manufacturing issues related to documentation and engineering
related discrepancies
• Special Process experience preferred in Electro Plating, Fixturing, Hydrogen concerns,
Shot Peening, organic and non-organic coatings, NDT
