CNC Programmer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Programmer with extensive aerospace experience in Tulsa, OK.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies expert and specialized knowledge of principles, theories, concepts, industry practices and standards and is recognized within the Company as an authority related to the operation with complete working knowledge regarding programming interpretation of highly technical and specialized machines used in the manufacturing of aircraft structures, component parts and related component systems and subsystems for operational aircraft.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Technical Bachelor level degree in Engineering or the sciences or equivalent and ten (10) to fifteen (15) or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience in operating manufacturing machines including CNC
- lathe, mill drill, grinding machine, CNC mill machine and deburring
- Experience using probing packages for tool set-up and part inspection.
- Aerospace and composite machining experience required.
- CATIA experience is required
- Personal computer skills include: MS Office software applications
- Ability to read and interpret drawing requirements and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret machine programming code
- Communicate effectively using electronic media and in written and verbal forms.
- Strong problem-solving and good analytical skills with machine controls required
- Advanced ability to perform shop mathematical calculations, including trigonometry and geometry
- Solid working knowledge of manufacturing methodologies and principles
