Aeronautical Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aeronautical Engineers for an opportunity in Patuxent River, Maryland.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Function as an F-35 Low Observables (LO) engineer and subject matter expert. 5 years minimum Low Observables and/or radar signature experience. Research defects, author engineering dispositions, and provide detailed instructions for F-35 aircraft. Explain, oversee, and assist with repairs. Lead non-standard LO work. Provide schedule, labor, and materials estimates. Interface with maintainers, engineers, and management, both at PAX River Integrated Test Force and externally. Provide LO-related briefings. Assist QA with inspections.
Qualifications and requirements:
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a US DOD interim Secret clearance to start.
Capable of interpreting aircraft low observable engineering drawings.
Good technical report writer and photographer.
Proficency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook) or windows operating system.
Familiar with F-35 LO materials suite.
Familiar with F-35 JTD, PDM, JDL, LOHAS, RVR, and F-35 specs.
