Engine Program Manager - Contract Services
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Engine Program Manager for an opportunity in Miami, FL and Dallas, TX.
The Engine Program Manager-Contract Services is responsible for the oversight of engine teardown vendors performing services on behalf of Delta Material Services (DMS).
Qualifications:
- Airframe and Powerplant license preferred with a minimum of five years engine experience.
- Extensive understanding of the technical aspects of aircraft, technical data and the ability to conduct research and analysis
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple organizations within Delta/DMS to achieve our common goals.
- Able to work collaboratively with vendors to drive vendor performance and issue resolution.
- Thorough understanding of company procedures, and Engine Maintenance procedures.
- Must have working knowledge of SAP.
- Strong business acumen including structured problem solving, & data analysis
- Strong operational, technical and leadership skills with the desire to collaborate to achieve goals.
- Project management and process improvement experience with a solid track record of results with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills (both internal and external).
- Functional ability with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project).

Responsibilities: - These services include the storage, disassembly, processing, tagging, & documentation of aircraft engines.
- Ensure that vendors perform their services in compliance with DMS requirements, which will include quality, operational and commercial matters. Primary Functions
- Manage the engine harvest program at the assigned vendor location(s), Miami and Dallas, Fort Worth
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel for mass data entry & Management. • Experience preparing basic status reports, upkeep of program & reporting to management.
- Working with the Delta & DMS teams to setup missing part numbers.
- Should have experience using ERP class systems such as SAP, Oracle, Pentagon2000, etc.
- Experience managing vendors with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently run the program with minimal oversight and deliver expected results.
