Budget Analyst

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Budget Analyst for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies financial status of 3rd party vendors by comparing and analyzing actual vendor results with plans and forecasts.
• Work the vendors and Regional managers to guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
• Develops capacity analysis for Clubs to understand how network changes and growth impact future seat demand
• Improve existing occupancy models to provide a more accurate capacity forecast
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Increases productivity by developing automated applications; coordinating information requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering)
• Specific Technology: • Excel • PowerPoint
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Comfort and ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Comfort learning new analytical tools (Hyperion Brio/SAS)
• High level of self-initiative and ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
• Understanding of accounting and invoicing
• Understanding of enterprise-level finance
• At least 12 months of experience in a function responsible for financial or revenue analysis
• Moderate/strong competency level in Excel with the ability to build models, forecast, and audit invoices
• Candidate must be able to create succinct PowerPoint presentations
• Soft Skills: • Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in order to understand relevant processes and address business needs • Comfort working in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment • Ability to manage diving deep into topics with providing time-sensitive answers to ad-hoc requests
