A&P Lead Mechanic
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking A&P Mechanics with commercial line maintenance experience for an opportunity in Tucson, AZ.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
A&P Lead Mechanics will maintain, inspect, repair, modify, overhaul and troubleshoot commercial aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements. The lead will also make sure mechanics are following procedures and take part in work task planning, employee engagement, communication, and strong directional leadership.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have 5+ years commercial MRO experience.
- Current A&P license required (6 months of documented experience within the last 2 years).
- Lead mechanic experience
- Critical skills: following procedures, work task planning, employee engagement, communication, strong directional leadership
- Must have the minimum tools as required.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
