Electrical Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking and Electrical Engineer with strong analog skills for an opportunity in Marion, MA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeking senior electrical engineering with strong analog skills.
We prefer candidate wishing to be hired permanently, following a period whereby they have proven themselves.
The candidate will be a technical contributor for the MK48 Heavy-weight torpedo program, taking on the following responsibilities: analog production support, analysis, testing, failure analysis, and writing associated documentation.
The engineer will collaborate routinely with other engineering disciples.
Excellent multitasking skills are a must, as typically engineers here juggle several tasks/programs/products simultaneously. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong ability to successfully work with customers, program management, engineering project managers, and within the multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams.
The candidate should be energetic, able to work independently, yet thrive in a team environment and have sound theoretical and practical experience as well as passion for analog engineering.
The person needs to have at least 2 years of experience developing, debugging, and supporting a production line for complex analog electronic designs. Robust circuit design, analysis, simulation, functional testing, DVT, first article testing, and qualification testing are necessary skills. A strong understanding of designing to withstand and succeed in environmental (thermal, vibration, humidity, etc.), electro-magnetic interference (EMI), and margin testing are part of the test scope are a bonus.
Proficient with common laboratory engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipment.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Candidate is required to have experience with Electrical Troubleshooting, Diagnosis/Repair and Testing.
- Candidate must be able to read Electrical Schematics.
- Secret Clearance - Interim Acceptable
- The candidate should be energetic, have sound theoretical technical skills, the ability to work independently, yet thrive in a team environment, and thrive on troubleshooting complex electronic systems.
- Candidate must have some laboratory experience with DVMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- BS and must at least have 4 years experience with Electrical Troubleshooting , Electronic Testing and Technical Writing.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
