Airline Catering Operatoins Project Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Catering Operations Project Manager for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.
In-Flight Service is seeking a dynamic and strategic individual with proven leadership skills to manage special implementation programs in Catering Operations. The PM will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and manage multiple workstreams across OBS, Operations, as well as cross-divisional partners in Supply Chain Management, IT and Airport Customer Service to achieve seamless execution of catering objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, technical field (e.g., industrial engineering) or equivalent work experience is required
- Experience in airline catering operations, supplier management or Supply Chain Management required.
- Experience in managing (non-IT) projects of $10M+ required
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Must convey a professional image with ability to lead, manage and communicate with all levels of the organization and its suppliers.
- Must be a self-starter, with strong decision making, analytical and planning skills required, ability to work independently with limited instruction or supervision.
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve desired business results.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project
- Develop and implement data driven performance objectives, and countermeasures to ensure achievement of goals with a strong focus on process orientation
- Communicate effectively with the different functions within the organization and partner with SCM, ACS and OBS planning team
- Preparation of materials to be presented to the VP, SVP, EVP and C-Suite as well as numerous other special and ad hoc projects.
- This is a 9-Month contract position
