SERE - Survival Training Instructor (W105)

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking SERE - Survival Training Instructors (W105) with experience in the application of military related survival principles and techniques for an opportunity in Saudi Arabia.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Trains aircrew members in GPS use relative to ground navigation and rescue operations
  • Develop course training materials and documents required for training personnel
  • Present formal academic lectures to aircrew members attending course at the RSAF STC
  • Present laboratory lessons to aircrew members attending courses at the RSAF STC
  • Operate motor boats in support of Water Survival Training
  • Prepare individual aircrew grade records and trainee files, and enter into STC computer
  • Counsel RSAF aircrew personnel as necessary with the small group phase of survival training
  • Perform duties associated with Life in Captivity Training Laboratory
  • Perform parasailing and parachuting duties for aircrew members attending RSAF STC courses
  • Accompany aircrews to remote field training areas and present course material to students
  • Must have current certification for Cardio-Pulmonary or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate
  • Perform additional duties in support of daily operations of the Survival Training Center {STC)

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Must have 2 years in the last 5 years as a Survival Training Instructor
  • Must have at least 4 years’ experience in the application of military related survival principles and techniques and use of USAF/RSAF post egress life support equipment
  • Must have at least 1 year in preparation, planning and presentation of lectures and Course Control Documents
  • Must have at least 2 years practical instructor experience within a Life in Captivity Training environment/scenario Prisoner of War camp for Group Organization and Resistance to exploitation for POW's
  • Must have at least 2 years Practical Instructor experience with a life in Captivity Training environment
  • Must be proficient in the use and operation of computers to include PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Must have experience in the operation of large motor boats both inboard and outboard engines.
