Proficiency exam is approx 20 multiple choice questions, in English as job cards are in English. It is to establish mechanic has English fluency and basic knowledge of his skillset. Must pass with a 70 or above. May not retake test for 30 days. No testing materials or suggestions available. Very easy, basic test.

Removal and Installation of IFE equipment
Operational check of the IFE system prior to removal and after installation
EWIS protection
Disconnect reconnect of wiring of any cabin system.
Cabin operational checks of the following :
Lighting
PA system
Lavatory systems
Galley systems
Emergency lighting
PSUs
Assist in interior work when no Avionics work is available.
Interior tasks you may be asked to help perform.
Included but not limited to removal and reinstallation of the following:
Lavatories
Galleys
Seats
Sidewalls
Overhead bins
Cabin windows
Carpet
Moon mat/mylar
Floor panels
Door panel
Door surrounds
Insulation
Ceiling panels
Emergency equipment
Cabin cleaning of:
Seat tracks
Air return grills
CIC
Lavatory
Galleys
Sidewalls
Ceilings
Non Routine work associated with cabin parts replacement and cosmetics.
Any other work as required by the Lead or Supervisor.
