Order Picker 

Des Moines, WA

Pay: $16.00/hr.

Shift: 1st

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Pick store orders and place in totes, or on pallets.
• Pull orders accurately and quickly.
• Make decisions, count merchandise quantities, and identify the proper location for merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to use electronic hand-held devices for order fulfillment
• Must be able to deal with variables that occur on the occasion that might deviate from the normal working situation.
• Must use good judgment to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude
• Must have the ability to quickly and accurately perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, decimals, and fractions
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend conversational English to be able to read stock orders, safety rules, and instructions in the use of machinery
• Previous warehouse/distribution center experience preferred
