Aircraft Upholstery Technician
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aircraft Upholstery Technicians with sewing experience for an opportunity in Englewood, CO.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Aircraft Upholstery Technicians will upholster, re-upholster and install aircraft seats, flooring, straps, panels and carpet on commercial aircraft in compliance with engineering blue prints policies, manuals, procedures and requirements. This position will also assist in the wood shop.
Job Requirements:
- Maintains an accurate usage log for all upholstery materials
- Must be able to sew leather
- Assists Supervisor determining project time and material usage for bid development
- Cabinet making experience is a plus.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Physical Requirements:
Bending, lifting (50 Lbs.), kneeling, stretching, working in tight quarters. Ability to work under, around and over aircraft and fixed components for long periods of time. Ability to stand and/or sit in one position for long periods of time. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Ability to perform in a hangar/shop.
