CNC Machinist

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist opportunity in Englewood, CO.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Machine precision parts by setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Tend to one or more machine tools to machine metal and non-metal work pieces.
• Complete routine machine maintenance.
• Capable of interpreting and editing CNC programs using Fanuc, Fadal, and Haas controls.
• Reads blue print and job traveler specifications to determine the proper tooling required to set up each operation.
• Builds fixtures as required to hold work piece.
• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools.
• Modify programs as required to meet product conformity.
• Replace cutting tools as required to meet product conformity.
• Deburr work pieces as required.
• Clean parts as required.
• Conduct proper inspection of first-run and in-process parts
• Accurate record keeping.
• Keep a safe and clean working environment.
• Read and interpret blue prints and work with solid work models.

 Qualifications and requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with CNC Machining
• Good math skills.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Basic blue print skills.
• General mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of machining the following materials; Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and assorted plastics.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
