Manual Lathe Machinist

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• 5+ Years of Manual Machining experience working primarily with Manual Lathes (Set up & Operation)
• Knowledge of Hardinge 5C Collect Chuckers and Bridgeport Manual Lahtes is a huge plus
• Knowledge of using radius cutters and be able to check/confirm work on a comparator. Constant use of dial indicators, bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers to check for run-out.
• Holding tolerances as low as +/-.0001
• Follow detailed blueprints
• Familiar with a high precision machine shop environment
• Comfortable with running own quality checks on finished parts

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
