Inspector I

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Inspector for an opportunity in Aston, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Responsible to evaluate and determine detail & assembly parts and test articles meet approved drawings and specifications.

   

• Perform all tests, inspections and measurements required by pre-defined instruction.

• Conduct inspection of incoming raw materials, first article parts, in-process materials, and finished goods.

• Inspect both work in progress and completed tasks for compliance in accordance with Purchase Order Instructions, Design Drawings & Specifications, Quality Control Plan, Safety, and contractual requirement.

• Participate in periodic stock inventories and prepare material requisitions for replacement items as required.

• Coordinate and assist with scheduled inspections with FAA/EASA regulatory personnel.

• Develop training and train junior individuals on inspection equipment and methods; Perform other quality-related tasks.

Qualifications and requirements:

• 0-2 years in mechanical inspection with focus on aerospace and manufacturing environment

• Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience

• Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy

• Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail
