Maintenance Technician

Marana, AZ

Pay: $15 

Shift: 1st 

Perform general maintenance functions assigned to the Facilities Maintenance Department including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Repairs and maintains physical structures of building using hand tools and power tools.
• Replaces defective electrical switches and other fixtures.
• Paints structures using painting equipment such as brushes and rollers.
• Repairs woodwork with carpenter's tools.
• Repairs plumbing fixtures.
• Repairs plaster and lays brick.
• Builds sheds and other outbuildings. 
• Maintains a log of materials used and hours worked.
• Maintains and repairs tools.
• Ensures that the shop area is clean and free from hazards.
• Ensure that all work performed is done in a safe manner.
• Directs activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Must have the minimum tools as required.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
