Machine Operator
Under direct supervision, operates light-duty bench and floor-type machine tools and equipment. Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on machines.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up all machines properly according to setup instructions
- Operates all machines correctly, efficiently and within quality standards
- Fully understands supporting documentation such as MPI’s, deviations, etc.
- Follow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures at all time
- Perform routine maintenance on all machines Data Entry
- Performs change-over and tear down processes
- Maintain products and communication log
- Performs machine operator duties as needed in all areas of production
- Teach the machine pick up point
- Fully understands supporting documentation such as planning cards
- Expert in off line set-up roles and responsibilities
- Using scan gun to verify feeder matching set up program
- Prepare re-load parts by machine
- Prepare Moisture-Sensitive parts when requested by line operators prior to run and properly handle components
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
