Electronics Technician

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Electronics Technicians for an opportunity in Marion, MA.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Requirements:

  • Must be solder certified to IPC-610 and J-STD
    Must be familiar with operation of electronic lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, wave form generators etc.)
  • Must be able to build cables and bread boards from engineering sketches and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to troubleshoot printed circuit boards to component level
  • Must have good problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have active DOD Clearance at Secret Level
  • Must have an Associate’s degree OR 5 years minimum experience.
  • Experienced with MS Office
  • Ability to read component identification markings.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with underwater vehicles, torpedo and sonar electronics
  • Experience with RF troubleshooting
