Quality Assurance Inspector

We are looking for a strong QA Inspector to join our 1st Shift Team in our facility in Addison. We are a industry leading Aerospace Component manufacturer and provide state of the art equipment for companies such as Boeing and Airbuss. Pay ranges from $18 to $18.50 p/hour depending on experience. See below for further information!

Summary  Inspects manufactured or processed products to ensure compliance with contract specifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Uses hand measurement gages such as thread plug/ring, caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, concentricity gage or bore gages.

Uses measurment equipment such as hardness tester, optical comparator or coordinate measurement machine (CMM).  Creates, validates and monitors CMM programs for specific parts.

Reviews documentation packages from supplier receipts for compliance to contract requirements.

Uses database software to process receipt transactions and nonconformance transactions.

Performs dock-to-stock receipt transactions.

Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

Records first pass yield information and documets measurement on inspection sheets.

Prepares first artical inspection reports (FAIRs) using dedicated software program.

Performs customer specific inspections and inspection reports.

Performs functional testing and acceptance testing on final product and completes functional testing data sheets.

Prepares documentation for customer and regulatory source inspection.

Performs in process inspection and final inspection activities.

Supports the Material Review Board as necessary to process nonconforming product.

Performs calibration coordination activities with external metrology provider.

Issues measurement gages from the gage control room.
