Material Resource Planning Controller
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Material Resource Planning Controller for an opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a Supply Chain Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- Scheduling equipment and personnel
Confirming material supply and demands - Preparing work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
- Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.
- Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
- Must be willing to traveling up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Communications, Supply Chain or Operations with 4+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR;
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Communications, Supply Chain or Operations with 2+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR;
- Master's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Communications, Supply Chain or Operations with 0+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR;
- JD/PhD with 0+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing
- In lieu of degree 6+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing
- Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience
- Experience with project management
- Experience collaborating with various departments
