We are a custom machine building company that specilizises within the Aerospace and Automotive industry. Pay will range from $50 to $70k/year depending on experience. We are seeking a creative, driven and highly motivated Quality Technician to join our team!
The ideal candidate will verify that parts meet all customer requirements as specified in a customer quality plan. We are looking for a candidate with a previous experience in a similar field and a good knowledge of inspection methods, who can operate forklift and 5/10+ crane, complete basic CMM and Laser Tracker maintenance as specified.
Responsibilities:
- Verify that manufactured and purchased parts conform to engineering specifications and drawings utilizing a CMM and a Laser Tracker
- Mark up manufactured parts for finish machining operations as required by the manufacturing routing
- Provide subassembly personnel with inspection data when adjustments are required to meet final accuracy requirements
- Verify that subassemblies meet the accuracy requirements specified by engineering specifications and drawings
- Create programs for Laser Tracker and CMM from part drawings and CAD data
- Create inspection reports from gathered data and process Defective Work Tickets
