Oak Brook, IL October 23 2017— LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions of Oak Brook, IL announced today that it has acquired Aviation Managed Solutions, Inc. (AMS) of Griffin, Georgia.
AMS is a premium provider of heavy structure repairs serving the aircraft maintenance industry. As a pioneer and leader in their field, the company is well known for its efficiency and excellence. The AMS team members joining the new LAUNCH Structures group bring a wealth of experience and skill, and are continually recognized as best in class.
“The acquisition of AMS is a logical extension of LAUNCH’s business model to provide a full range of capabilities for fixed rate modification programs,” said Mike Guagenti, LAUNCH CEO. “We’re excited to be adding the AMS group to our LAUNCH Teams umbrella that also includes LAUNCH Avionics and LAUNCH AOG.”
Over the past five years, LAUNCH has partnered with AMS on more than 300 Wi-Fi installation projects. “The ability of these two teams to work seamlessly and deliver industry-leading turn times makes this latest acquisition a perfect fit,” added Guagenti.
AMS, a valuable partner to its clients for winglets, skin repair, NGS and other heavy structure repairs, was founded by CEO Ryan Dailey who will become an employee of LAUNCH in an advisory capacity. “I have always focused on giving our employees as many opportunities as possible to grow and thrive in their professions,” said Dailey. “The acquisition by LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is a natural fit, ensuring that our people will continue on this path.”
Tim Jones, who has served as AMS President, will assume the role of LAUNCH Structures President.
