Aircraft Painter

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Painter with experience painting aircraft and aircraft parts for an opportunity in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Under supervision, effectively prepare and paint major sub-assemblies and other parts of aircraft in production made according to specifications and schedule requirements.

• Mix paints, primers, etc. according to specifications.
• Paint major assemblies (including metal, fiberglass and composite material), detail parts, and apparatus related to ground support.
• Strip paint and prepares surfaces as required.
• Perform miscellaneous paint operations and applies decals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S and Lean Initiative Programs and complies with all safety regulations.
• Demonstrate Manufacturing competencies in the Employee Effectiveness Review.

Qualifications and requirements:

• 3+ years of aircraft painting experience.
• Basic understanding of FAA regulations pertaining to CFR Part 145 repair station operations. 
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
