Quality Inspector

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Quality Inspectors for an opportunity in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform inspections of: 

• FAI (first article inspection) of newly designed or revised products. 
• Incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order. 
• In-process inspection of parts being manufactured. 
• Sub-assemblies used in the construction of aircraft interiors. 
• Final products prior to shipment.

Interpret and read engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.

General Notes:

• All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of C&D products. 
• As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future. 
• Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division. 

Qualifications and requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or equivalent experience. 
• Experience: 5+ years experience within the quality environment in aerospace. 
• Computer Skill: Familiar with Windows Operating System®. 
• Other Skills: Qualified candidate must posses’ ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and other technical literature is preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9102, FAI, and final assembly inspection.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
