Supply Chain Program Manager

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

The Program Manager must be responsible for leading strategic initiatives to support follow-through on contractual warranties and guarantees. These initiatives require the use of data science to marry aircraft maintenance data with operational and commercial requirements to identify trends. The successful candidate will establish relationships across the client's business unit to identify innovative opportunities to capture warranty. This role is data driven and focused on operations, maintenance, reliability, and engineering projects covered by supplier entitlements. Primary responsibilities are data mining and analytics, dashboard development and reporting, project management, program implementation, and business unit support. The individual should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations environment with a large and diverse complement of employees, and ability to work with minimal supervision and complete ownership of projects. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 8+ years in a Project Manager position
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field including engineering, math, business or A&P Mechanics license with proven track record of out of the box thinking and an ability to think large scale.
  • Master degree is preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Must have a commitment to continuous improvement with Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to successfully execute and manage the scope, schedule and resources of divisional and cross-divisional projects.
  • Must be willing to work evenings/ weekends when required to meet operational needs.
  • Knowledge of or experience with TechOps policies and procedures in the development and/or execution of aircraft modifications, alterations, repairs or maintenance programs is desired.
