48 - Electro-Mechanical Technician - Elk Grove Village, IL Temp to Perm (780 hours) Shift: 1st 7am - 3:30pm Pay: $16-$18 Sonoscan, the world leader in Acoustic Micro Imaging, is seeking to hire Electro-mechanical Technicians who can work independently as well as contribute as a team player. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, must have an Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent, and able to read blue print and schematics. Job Duties include: 1. Builds and assemble electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies and cabinets for micro imaging. 2. Install electrical components. 3. Install mechanical assemblies that deal with motion control. 4. Build cable assemblies, panel and electronic wiring. 5. Perform electronic troubleshooting down to component level 6. Test and calibration of system prior to final inspection. Job Requirements 1. Must have a minimum 2 years experience 2. Must have at least an Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent 3. Must be able to read blue print or schematics 4. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds 5. Must know how to use hand tools 6. Good documentation skills 7.
