Quality Assurance Specialist II

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Quality Assurance Specialist II with for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

 

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
HR ServiceNow is a case management/workflow application used by Delta's HR organization. We have multiple ad hoc projects, application upgrades and patches throughout the year, and a backlog of application functionality we'd like to implement. We need someone to help us manage the quality assurance (QA), testing, and documentation related to the various projects and deliverables.
• Support the HR ServiceNow team in the quality assurance/testing and documentation aspect of project delivery, application upgrades, patches, and other duties as assigned,
• Work with manager to create and maintain test scripts and create a repeatable and sustainable QA protocol/strategy
• Must have experience with quality assurance and application testing protocol, including writing test scripts/user stories, leading test sessions, defect tracking and management, and creating associated metrics.
• Schedule and lead testing sessions with HR ServiceNow team members related to projects, upgrades, and patches
• Analyze defects and work with developers/specialists to identify root cause
• Report and track defects to resolution; develop process to capture QA metrics
• Ensure technical documentation is reviewed and updated to assist with the QA process
• Collaborate with other HRSD team members, ITSM ServiceNow, and other IT and business areas to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
• Ensures all processes comply with Delta’s policies and procedures and applies best practice standards throughout product lifecycle.
• Must be available to work at least 4 hours one Saturday per quarter for system upgrades and patches
• Must be flexible, adaptable to quickly changing priorities, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational projects and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
