A&P Mechanic

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an A&P Mechanic with commercial C&D check experience on Commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

A&P Mechanics will maintain, inspect, repair, modify, overhaul and troubleshoot commercial aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements. 

 

? Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. craft structures, systems, or components, following drawings, engineer

? Modify airing orders and technical publications.

? Perform visual inspections during assembly of part and after repair or installation of component.  Perform operational checks after maintenance is performed to ensure proper operation.

? Examine, inspect and troubleshoot engine or other components for cracks, breaks, or leaks.

? Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects.

? Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools.

? Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems, using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.

? Test engine and system operations, using testing equipment.

? Service and maintain aircraft systems.

? Perform maintenance IAW FAA approved technical data.

? Research FAA technical data to locate applicable data relevant to assigned tasks.

? Other duties may be assigned. Must have an A&P License. 

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Current A&P license required (6 months of documented experience within the last 2 years).
  • Must have the minimum tools as required.
  • Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
