Strategic Planning Analyst
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Strategic Planning Analyst in Forecasting & Analysis will:
- Develop, test and deploy various statistical models, methodologies and programming to evaluate data and trends relative to forecasting airframe hangar events and ground time analysis.
- Work with Hangar Planners to determine optimal long range plan and turn time requirements for hangar visits, identifying problems and proposing creative solutions.
- Measure and analyze Network schedules.
- Identify impacts of schedule changes on the operation.
- Lead cross functional teams utilizing project management methodologies from initiation to completion.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to improve efficiency.
- Requires heavy project management collaboration amount Maintenance, Supplier Operations, Supply Chain Management, Network planning, Engineering, Materials and Maintenance Programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics preferred.
- At least 36+ months of analytical work or project management experience required.
- Intermediate to expert level Experience with Microsoft Office applications (with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
- Basic understanding or experience with SAS, Hyperion / Brio, R, Python, SQL or other relevant data extraction tool.
- Tableau and Ames experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings and presenting to leaders.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and completing work assignment around impediments.
- Must be a quick learner with a commitment to high quality results and capability to check own work.
